The Gospel begins and ends with a loving God. The love of God is the beating heart of the universe and the sustaining force of all life. We can catch a glimpse of God in the splendour of creation: "When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have set in place... O Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!" (Psalm 8) How often have you been struck dumb by the sheer awesomeness of creation? |

Lord, you have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless We are not pre-programmed, we are not robots, we live and breathe and make our own choices about our lives. God would never force us, we must choose for ourselves whether we will walk in step with God's rhythm... |
